Sandra Facincone
Clinical Development Director
Sandra brings outstanding qualifications with 26 years experience in Clinical Research across a wide variety of indications including oncology, rare diseases, infectious disease, endocrinology, immunology, anesthesiology, pneumology and cardiology. Was Guest Researcher of the Immune- Pathology Department at Northwestern University and is a Post-Graduate in Hematology and Biology of Disease at University of Westminster. Holds a B.Sc. in Medical Biology, a B.Sc. in Pharmacy, a MSc. in Pathology, a Ph.D in Immunology.
Claudia Rodriguez Verde
Director of Operations
Claudia has over 19 years of experience in clinical research. Most notably held positions as CEO of Intrials and 10 years as Director of Quintiles (IQVIA) for Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay. She oversaw a remarkable 6x fold expansion of the company in Latin America, co-founded 2 CROs and is a recognized figure in the industry. A major interlocutor between academia, investigators and government, Board Member of Porsaleu-Foundation for Patients with Leukemia & Lymphoma and is also a regular speaker at Real World Evidence and Real-World Data events in Argentina, Brazil & Europe.
Juliana Castro
Sr. Regulatory & Project Manager
Juliana is a highly experienced Project & Regulatory Manager and a go-to reference for regulatory authorities. She’s been working in clinical research since 2007. She has a Bachelor in Biology, Masters in Biology, PhD in Genetics and has published numerous studies as author and co- author. Before joining RARAS she acted as Regulatory Head of Scitech Medical a leading manufacturer of medical devices for interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular, endo-surgery and endoscopy. She has also served as Regulatory head at CRC CRO, Study Coordinator at Dante Pazzanese and other sites.
Leonardo Abizaid
Director of Business Development & Medical Affairs
Leonardo was COO of CRC – the largest CRO for medical devices in Brazil – since 2007 before joining RARAS. Over the years he has built an impressive portfolio particularly in the field of cardiovascular medical devices areas. He maintains effective working relationship with major university hospitals, and key players in the Device Industry worldwide. He currently leads RARAS Business Development and Medical Affairs ensuring client access to leading investigators in Brazil and Latin America.
